PHA/EPC's 2nd Annual Social!
WHEN: Noon – 4PM, Sunday, May 4th,
LOCATION: the Tennis Court, located just North of 314 Panoramic Way.
(PLEASE enter through the tennis court gate, at the northeast corner of the court, approximately 50 feet north of 314 Panoramic Way.)
FOOD AND DRINK: BYO
There will be some refreshments provided, but this year food and drink is BYO—everyone brought so much great food and drink last time that we had more than enough! So, we're counting on the same response. :-)
David and Daniella Grewal, our hosts, have graciously offered the use of their tennis court as well as their BBQ, so feel free to bring something to cook on the grill.
ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS: PH neighbors Sarah Bade and Katherine Bond will again provide activities for children so parents can devote more time to carefree socializing!
Last year's Social was such a success that your PHA Emergency Preparedness Committee (EPC) decided that another great gathering is in order.
So, come get together with your PH neighbors!
We will provide ice, coolers, tables, cups, napkins, paper plates and compostable utensils, as well as limited garbage, recycling and compost collection bins. Please take what you can home, but please recycle and compost anything biodegradable, i.e. used paper, compostable utensils and unwanted food. Some chairs and tables will also be set up, but feel free to bring your own chairs.
PLEASE take any leftover uneaten food and drink home with you; last year we had a lot of leftovers that we simply had to throw away. We really appreciate it, since it means a lot less work for all of the volunteers.

This year we are honored to have as a Guest Speaker Kevin Revilla, with the Berkeley Fire Dept's Wilderness Urban Interface (WUI) Division, who will make brief presentation on the importance of Emergency Preparedness.
