Recent Burglaries

There has been an alarming number of burglaries reported in the last month, some brazenly during the day while people are in their homes.  Most have been in the Berkeley city limits and lower Panoramic, but not all. These burglaries may be related to the release of a robber who was recently released on parole.

Report any suspicious activity to the Berkeley Police Department, (510) 981-5900.

One Response to Recent Burglaries

  1. A Panoramic Hill neighbor just sent me this message: The police have just taken a suspect fitting the descriptions of recent burglaries into custody. They have been questioning him for the last hour and said they were taking him down now. I shared the communications I received with the police. They were very happy to have them. I suggest we continue to share with each other suspicious sightings because it really helps the police build a case. Keep your doors locked–this may not be the last of this guy.
