Final Environmental Impact Report

UC Berkeley announces publication to the web and the availability of
electronic (CD) copies of the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR)
examining the proposed Southeast Campus Integrated Projects, including
seismic corrections and program improvements for the California Memorial
Stadium; a parking structure and sports field at the current site of
Maxwell Family Field, primarily replacing surface parking lost as a result
of the Projects; and the proposed Law Business Connection building at the
current site of Calvin Laboratory and 2241 and 2243 College Avenue on the
campus park. Paper copies are also available (later today or tomorrow)
for review at the Central & Claremont branches of the Berkeley Public
Library, the Rockridge branch of the Oakland Public Library and at the UC
Berkeley Environmental Design Library in Wurster Hall.

The UC Regents Committee on Grounds and Buildings will consider the
Integrated Projects EIR and whether to approve the Student Athlete High
Performance Center, a new building comprising the first phase of the
seismic and program improvements work for the Stadium, at their November
14, 2006 meeting, to be held on the University of California, Los Angeles
campus. For information on how to present public comment to The Regents,
